Kenneth Peterson, MD, MA

Dr. Peterson received his Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Arizona followed by board certification in internal medicine at Phoenix Banner University Medical Center.

He comes to the LifeScape Medical team with a desire to provide a unique personalized medicine perspective. In addition to his training in internal medicine, he has recently obtained advanced master’s level training in BioDiagnostics (specialization in preventing, diagnosing and managing of disease and chronic conditions).

Moreover, Dr. Peterson’s 5-year experience as a Senior Medical Director at a national Pharmacy Benefits Management firm allows for an in-depth opportunity to reduce both cost and risk from pharmacologic treatments.

He has special certifications in telemedicine, geriatrics and quality review and is a member of the National Lipid Association, Arizona Geriatrics Association and the Institute for Functional Medicine. He hails from Wisconsin, is married and has one daughter who recently married and is living in Colorado. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, skiing, mountain biking, photography, jazz piano and travel with his family.

Dr. Peterson will help drive many of the quality initiatives that LifeScape is participating in order to ensure the highest possible quality of patient care.
