Onsite Psychologist

Dr. Strohman is founder and Director of The Technology Wellness Center, one of the first organizations to address the global issue of Technology Addiction. A licensed clinical psychologist, Dr. Strohman has spent more than a decade working with individual, family and adolescent clients struggling with issues including depression, anxiety and addiction. Her clinical practice is based within LifeScape Medical Associates. Her training as a cognitive behavioral psychologist is balanced with her analytical but down to earth approach. Most clients appreciate her effort to make therapy about gaining tools rather than an ongoing commitment. Her goal is to empower her clients to work with their own strengths to find the solutions and get on the right path to well-being.

A California native, Dr. Strohman attended the University of California, Davis where she received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Magna Cum Laude. She then completed a joint, integrated program in Law and Psychology at Villanova and Drexel Universities in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania earning a Juris Doctorate in Law and a Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology, Cum Laude.

During graduate school, she performed research in substance abuse, risk communications and child abduction. Her work earned her the position as an honors intern with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and invited her to become a visiting scholar with the FBI’s National Center for the Analysis of Violent Crime division as she completed her dissertation.

Dr. Strohman has an avid interest in public policy and was honored to become a Legislative Intern in Congress. Her contributions at this position led to successful legislation and are reflected by her name in the Congressional Record. Dr. Strohman’s clinical expertise includes individual and family therapy, depression, anxiety, marital issues, grief and loss. If desired, Dr. Strohman will work directly with her patient’s primary care provider to offer a more holistic range of treatment options.

Dr. Strohman is married to her high school sweetheart, LifeScape physician Dr. William Strohman and is an avid runner and a dedicated mom to their two children. Learn more about her unique approach to therapy by visiting her website: drlisastrohman.com.
