Feed Your Face with this Vitamin Infused Hydration Smoothie

Chapped lips, itchy skin, redness, and peeling are all common dry skin symptoms. It's a no brainer that the first recommendation is to drink plenty of water to hydrate your skin from within. But for those who are tired of drinking plain old water, here is a recipe that is sure to hydrate and give your taste buds something to get excited about:

Ginger Pear Smoothie - for delicious, vitamin infused hydration

2 cups of fresh spinach leaves
1 ½ cups of almond milk
4 medium pears, chopped
1 inch piece of grated fresh ginger
¼ teaspoon of ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 frozen banana
1/2 cup of ice

Simply place all the ingredients in your blender and puree until creamy and smooth. Divide into glasses and serve. Makes four servings.
