Kim’s Plate: Marinade for ANYTHING

This marinade is great because you can use it on meat, poultry, seafood or veggies.  It has a fresh, lemony taste that is great for grilling in the summer.



  • ¼ cup fresh lemon juice
  • ½ tsp cracked black pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 4 strips of lemon zest
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley
  • ¼ cup chopped basil, cilantro, dill, oregano (or a combination of a few or even all!)
  • ½ cup extra virgin olive oil

Place all ingredients in a mixing bowl and whisk until mixed.  Place meat/chicken/seafood in marinade for 2-3 hours.  Can be used for grilling, baking or broiling.
